Aisha Imdad is a Pakistani visual artist. Her current practice explores South Asian myths, folktales, and histories through miniatures. With over 25 years of experience as an educator and crafts and heritage expert, Aisha’s work is firmly rooted in research; each painting is conceptualized through surveying historical texts, examining existing artworks, and referencing materials in her personal library and archive. Aisha holds a B.F.A. and M.A. (Hons.) in Visual Art from the National College of Arts, Lahore, Pakistan.
